Thoughts that I had to ducument.

Jesus knew zip about the free market economy…and its ability to uplift the poor to levels that one could never dream of in any other system devised by man – because the free market system is not one devised by man it just is. Like money before governments and languge before the Taalkomissie (language comission) and law before the guys that thought that they could just make laws for others to obey (kings and modern day politicians).

He (Jesus) said: “We will always have the poor with us”

He also said” Pay the King what is owing to him”

Jesus was a Socialist in certain respects – he also was Libertarian in many others.A kind of contradiction. He is also my hero because he died for what he believed - a pity it wasn't a tax revolt.

That he is the son of god – well, since I do not believe in god he was just a son of man. But, if we can believe the story, he lived an inspiring life.
